online conference topics
IT Communicators,
If you could participate in a "how we accomplished" or "this is what
worked and didn't work for us" webinar by another university or panel of
peers, what topics do you want/need most?
I am on the program committee for the next EDUCAUSE West/Southwest
regional conference; the face-to-face portion will be held February
12-14, 2013 in Austin, Texas.
BUT, we cover more states and square miles for our two combined regions
than any other regional conference, so an ONLINE conference is a
necessity for a lot of members.
I want to submit suggested topics for the online conference by May 18.
Please send me your suggestions.
Thanks!

I'd like to see... How to convince IT leadership of the importance of 'marketing' our value? How to encourage/spark the change from IT-centric to customer-centric? Lauren Oswald Manager, IT Communications Missouri S&T loswald@mst.edu Sent from my iPhone
Sounds good; I'll include these on our wish list. Carlyn PS, I only hear good things about your university, and would love to hear you present on a topic of interest in the coffee shop one day! Sent from my iPhone
