Hi all -

Maybe it's time to update our wiki page. Right now we have a list of Job Titles and abbreviated Job Descriptions for IT Communications positions. How would people feel about posting their current full job description as a pdf doc, linked to the job title?

IT Communicators, Here are two wiki pages with old or limited info. http://www.educause.edu/wiki/Job+Titles http://www.educause.edu/wiki/Job+Descriptions+-+IT+Communicators Anyone with an Educause login can edit the pages, so please revise! Thanks to all for their responses so far! The examples have been very useful. The Educause Wiki was the first place I checked, but as Cathy and Carlyn mentioned, the data on job/position descriptions was very limited. I'd be happy to re-post what was submitted to the list as attachments to the Job Descriptions wiki page, assuming there are no objections. ___________________________ Peter Mosinskis A&IT Project Supervisor Division of Technology & Communication (T&C) California State University Channel Islands (CI) One University Drive Camarillo CA 93012 USA tel 805-437-8587 http://www.csuci.edu PLEASE SUBMIT ALL NEW WORK REQUESTS TO THE A&IT HELP DESK: call 805-437-8552 or email helpdesk@csuci.edu
