Hello Strat Plan CG members

Have you heard of the EDUCAUSE Connect events?  These are replacing what were the EDUCAUSE Regional Conferences and offer a face to face sharing and learning experience with your peers.

Call for Proposals for Connect Chicago and Connect Baltimore are still open and the organizers are asking you to share your ideas for the programs.  Also, there will be opportunities for CG roundtables and other activities on site at all three events.

The current Call For Proposal deadlines are:
Chicago Connect = September 30th  For more details see: http://www.educause.edu/events/educause-connect-chicago/call-proposals
Baltimore Connect = November 13th.  For more details see: http://www.educause.edu/events/educause-connect-baltimore/call-proposals

Please take time to consider these events as part of your learning and development planning for this year.

Kind regards
Gayleen

Hello Strategic Planning CG Members!

The Annual EDUCAUSE Conference is just around the corner - October 15 - 18 in Anaheim California.  We are hoping to meet many of you there!  If you haven't done so already, check out the great program and start planning your time in Anaheim.

We especially encourage you to attend the:

IT Strategic Planning Constituent Group Discussion Session
Thursday, October 17
8:00 AM - 8:50 AM
Meeting Room 210A/B

Mark Berman, Nadine Stern and I, your Strat Plan CG co-leaders, have a full agenda for our session:  We will outline our goals for the CG, provide a quick review of the Engagement Survey we conducted last fall, provide a sneak peak into some upcoming activities we are planning for later this fall and into the winter, and we will facilitate an open discussion for all of YOU, our members, to share your input on how the CG can be more active and of more of value – bring your ideas to the session!  We hope you will make connections with other CG members at the session so we can continue to grow our collective strengths in the Strategic Planning.

If you can't make the session and you still want to meet up in Anaheim to discuss the Strategic Planning CG and/ or Strategic Planning Best Practices, look for the EDUCAUSE Community and Constituent Group Lounge Open in room 205B to interact with other members from all the CGs, reach out to the listserv during the conference and perhaps we can schedule time to connect between sessions or at the social events!

On behalf of my co-leaders Mark and Nadine
Kind regards and safe travels!
