edACCESS 2012 Tech Conference Request for Vendor Referrals
Message from jrjohnson@williston.com
**********
Participation and subscription information for this EDUCAUSE Constituent Group discussion list can be found at http://www.educause.edu/groups/.
Know a vendor that wants to connect with information technology customers of K-12 schools and small colleges? edACCESS (http://www.edaccess.org) is looking for more vendors for our Vendor Day during the 2012 edACCESS Tech Conference. Vendor Day will be held, Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at the Peddie School in Hightstown, NJ (http://www.peddie.org).
At the annual conference, edACCESS allows vendors significant “face-time” with conference attendees. Each vendor gets booth space and an opportunity make a brief presentation to a portion of the conference participants. Got a cool new product that you purchased and want to share it with others in your field? Find a new hardware or software solution to an issue you recently conquered? Network monitoring, backup, database management, phone systems, web design, consulting….you name it and edACCESS has probably had a vendor for it.
Past vendors have included: Blackbaud – Blackboard – Blue Coat – Cloudpath Networks – Code 42 Software – ConnectEDU – CSS – Custom Computer Specialists - Cymphonix – DyKnow – EdgeWave – Exhibio - finalsite – Follett - GovConnection – inResonance – Kannon Communications – Learning Networks – Longhouse Software – Magic Hour Communications – Meraki - Meru Networks – NetEqualizer - New Schoolyard – Red River Computer – Savvy Software – Scale Computing - SchoolDude – Silverpoint.NET – Spiral Universe – SureTech – Technology Partners - The Proof Group – TwinStrata - Veracross – WhatIf Networks - WhippleHill Communications …and many more.
And registering to be a vendor at the edACCESS Conference is just as easy as registering to be an attendee. Just have your salesperson or solution provider go to http://www.edaccess.org, click on ‘Register Today’ and choose the vendor registration option. Please note that edACCESS limits the number of participating vendors and availability of booth/presentation slots is on a first-come, first-served basis. We like to keep things small and personal, rather than having our attendees swim through a “sea” of vendors that large conferences can sometimes have.
Vendor fees for this conference are significantly lower than other conferences, too. It’s only $450 if they sign up before April 22, 2012. The value of being able to directly connect with technology decision makers and IT personnel at independent schools is very high with this opportunity. One vendor told me he loves the opportunity that edACCESS provides for him to not only acquire new sales leads, but also “check-in” with his existing customers and chat.
Well, that’s my humble request. Please mention edACCESS registration to any interested technology sales solution providers. Additionally, if there are any questions about vendor relations at the edACCESS Conference, please direct them to me. Thanks and hope to see you (and your vendors) at Peddie in June.

I am working with a vendor, we just met this Friday to discuss it. They are interested but reading your email we missed the 4/22 deadline. how much does the fee go to after 4/22? If I get him to sign today can he still have the 4/22 fee? Thank you
