Is there any way to incorporate external video, images, etc. into a video that you are editing on an iPad? I am using iMovie and have looked into Movie 360 and Reel Director but cannot not seem to find anything that will allow me to include any materials that were not created with that iPad.

Thanks,
Robin

Thanks Guys. I know how to add footage from the video browser and photo roll. Just not how to get them from Google Drive into the Video browser or photo roll....

I'm not sure in Google Drive. I couldn't get it to work. But in Dropbox, if you hit the Star to make it a favorite, you will then have the down arrow light up and it has a "Save to Photo Library" option.

Got it to work via DropBox once I realized the videos needed to be in .mov format. Thanks!

Robin –

I think the imovie help documentation has what you need, as long as you have a way to get those external media files into your Video Browser or Camera Roll. (For instance, I can bring photos from my SkyDrive app onto the ipad’s Camera Roll & go from there.)

Agreed. Use SkyDrive, DropBox, GoogleDrive, Box.net, or something like that to get the video onto the iPad and save to your Camera Roll.
