Hello. Just curious to know what methods people are using to electronically distribute report cards. There is a push to move in that direction on our campus so were are beginning to investigate various methods whether it be PDFs to parents via email, making them available on a NetClassroom portal or a Finalsite portal, 3rd party program Omatic for Schools), etc. Also, how have parents responded? Thanks much, Barbara __________________________ Barbara J. Barbara - We have been using NetClassroom for at least 5 years- both the daily online gradebook and to distribute report cards and course registrations. Virtually no complaints from anyone. Feel free to contact me if you want to discuss further. Carolynn Parisi Director of Technology Mount Saint Mary Academy Office: 908-757-0108 x5030

Our high school archives the report card as a PDF in My BackPack, the parent portal for Senior Systems.

Starting about 6 years ago, we started posting PDFs of report cards from Rediker to our Finalsite portals.  Then, we switched to Veracross for our student information system and it's all handled by Veracross.  Faculty use the Veracross gradebook to enter assignments/grades.  Veracross automatically generates report cards at the end of each quarter and makes them available as PDFs on the parent and student Veracross portal.  The PDFs are generated dynamically, so if a grade change goes through our internal process, the report card is automatically updated the next time the parent goes to look at it.  The whole process is very hands-off from an administrative perspective.
