We are closing in on a decision regarding a wireless vendor.

I am curious to see if anyone can speak to a curious apparent decline in Meru's presence in the independent school market.

Are any of you (specifically boarding schools) using them happily?  Any thoughts on why the might be left on the short list of vendors?

Thanks,

Kevin

We have them...

They've been rock solid and we were able to reduce the number of AP's in some areas.

You're welcome to contact me directly for more info..

Message from pickett@glenelg.org

I might be able to speak to that.   We bought Foundry, which I believe it Meru repackaged.    The issue we found was in trying to connect with projectors.  It seems like the broadcasts were being squashed, so wireless laptops could not connect to wired projectors.

They might have resolved the issue since then.

Hope that helps.
