The FIM Technet Forum is probably the best/only option really at this point - http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/ilm2/threads - all the questions generally get answered pretty quickly. There's an old YahooGroup - MMSUG but it's more or less dead in terms of activity. Thanks, Brian Desmond brian.desmond@morantechnology.com w - 312.625.1438 | c   - 312.731.3132

mmsug@yahoogroups.com is the MMSUG list. Looks like 34 emails during September/October, and none in November. Quite a few FIM experts are on it, so while it's dying down, it's still viable. >

Les, There is an active LinkedIn community at: http://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=1714607&mostPopular=&trk=tyah I recommend following a few people on that list such as Buck Bell, Richard Blackham, Joe Stepongzi; these guys know FIM and have a larger context and can be invaluable to you. You can get an understanding of where FIM is likely to head by reading Gartner's Ian Glazer's post on the MS acquisition of BHold assets. MS partners post frequently on this site and I recommend discussing your needs with a partner; that has always been my preferred approach. Yours, Ross Foard rfoard@gmail.com
