We built our own.  I hadn't heard about this FERPA change -- do you have a link to where that is documented?

I called the DoE this morning and spoke with someone (they apparently don’t identify themselves when you call) who was not aware of any rule changes to FERPA related to what Michael mentioned. She did indicate that all of the content on their site is up-to-date and accurate. She was also not aware of any changes to the policy since the “last change in late 2012." http://www2.ed.gov/policy/gen/guid/fpco/index.html She also recommended that if you have any questions the best way to get an official answer is to email ferpa@ed.gov and that goes directly to a compliance officer. So you’ll hear from the source and can put to bed any curiosities.
