Dear Digital Promise friends --
I want to take a moment to announce the appointment of David Wiley as
Digital Promise's Senior Fellow for Open Education. David is one of
this country's most innovative thinkers around issues of technology
and education. His work focuses on making education more accessible
and more affordable to more Americans, a cause that's especially
important in this tough economy. As a Senior Fellow, he will work with
us to build our fellows program, and write a series of white papers on
some of the most pressing issues related to the future of education.
Please find below a Salt Lake Tribune story, and an
accompanying press release on his appointment.
