Message from celks@odu.edu

When we requested a price quote on SPSS Grad Packs from our account manager at IBM SPSS last week, she sent us a 10 page IBM Software Reseller Agreement.  Our account manager let us know that this agreement has to be signed and returned to her before she can send us a price quote.  We did not receive any notification from IBM SPSS that they would be requiring the Software Reseller Agreement to order products from them in 2012.
 
Have other schools that sell SPSS Grad Packs or Faculty Packs received the Software Reseller Agreement from IBM SPSS this year?  If so, how did your institution handle this agreement?

I asked our Store and they said a lot has changed since IBM bought SPSS.

 

Last year we (Store) had to sign a lot of paperwork when we started purchasing SPSS Grad Pack from IBM last year but they didn’t require us to sign new paperwork for 2012.  We have placed orders and received product in 2012 but thus far they haven’t sent us any new paperwork to fill out.
