Message from mknox@austin.utexas.edu

The list has had several items on managing lab deployments and also on Adobe Creative Suite management there in. So FYI

I came across this new tool (free download) from Sassafras that does serialization of Adobe CS6 products in a volume deployment such as a computer lab; it does not require Keyserver (although there seems to be added functionality if you have it) and from what I read “AshBuilder will eliminate the labor necessary to visit each cloned computer to manually activate CS6 product installations.”

We have not tried it, I think it is pretty new…

See http://www.sassafras.com/tools/ashbuilder.html.  John Tomeny  has always been a resource for us from Sassafras: <johnt@sassafras.com>
