I just wanted to check in to see what institutions are seeing on typical price increases for Mathematica. Ours is a three year agreement (last one was 2009). What kind of uplift should I REALLY expect to get down to (if any) versus what they are offering?

Thanks for any insight.

Marg

We only saw about a $32 increase over last year for our site license, but we have a UNC system-wide contract.  I'm not sure if we have a price increase limit negotiated in there or not.

Our contract is up for renewal next month and are looking at an 8% increase.
Also we were considering dropping the student home use option but Wolfram decided it is now required going forward.
They sited too many people breaking the rules.

Thanks Brian.

8% seems high given the economy…but is the offer to us as well. We are not sure our customers are willing to pay more…
