Message from jts5d@eservices.virginia.edu

Does anyone have any recommendations for or against analyst services like Directions on Microsoft http://www.directionsonmicrosoft.com/?

I recently attended a talk by a KPMG Microsoft licensing auditor who suggested Directions on Microsoft was a good source of information on Microsoft Technology & Strategy – Licensing, Roadmaps and MS Organization.

Thanks,

Joe

I highly recommend Directions on Microsoft.  I have received a lot of valuable information from them.  In fact, I know some Microsoft folks who recommend them as well.

If you are unsure, I believe you can get a trial subscription for one month.

I also subscribe to Directions on Microsoft. At times their telebriefings are a bit boring but overall I also find their information valuable.

The service is especially helpful when Microsoft releases plans for new versions, like SQL Server 2012 and System Center 2012.
