Hi Everyone,

First, I would like to thank everyone who participates on this list.  It has been extremely valuable to me for feedback, and to also see how other organizations are tackling current issues.  Sometimes I just liked seeing that I wasn’t the only one dealing with some of this craziness.

Second, I will be ending my employment at Sam Houston State University on the 13th of this month.  I am switching evils and moving into the corporate world for new career opportunities.  That said, SHSU will be filling my position as soon as possible and I thought this might be a good place to advertise it.  The job is expected to post in the next week or so.

Technology asset management is still in its early stages here at SHSU and is still figuring out the best role to take and what resources will be devoted.  It is a great opportunity for someone who is experienced in the field, and would most benefit from someone who is familiar with software licensing and able to establish asset management plans/future.

Feel free to email me at zacbraak@gmail.com.  Otherwise, Elisa Crossland (elc025@shsu.edu) is the Director for the area and can provide details about the future of the position.

SHSU is located in Huntsville, Texas.  It is about an hour and a half north of Houston and has a great atmosphere both on-campus and around town.

Happy New Year to All.

Thanks,

Zac Braaksma
