Hi All,

We are planing to upgrade from MS Exchange 2003 to Office 365.  We are using Outlook 2010 on Windows side and Entourage on Mac side (as Outlook 2011 won't work with Exchange 2003).

The issue we have is that Office 365 will not work with Entourage, but will work with Office 2011, this means that we have to configure couple of hundred Macs.  So, my question to the group is, are there any tools/scripts that can push out Office 2011 to Mac's, and then configure the client?  Also, some users may have .pst files.  Is there a way to copy those over to Outlook 2011?

Thanks,
Arif

Arif,

Did you try Entourage EWS with Office 365?  We just needed to upgrade Entourage to the EWS version and it worked fine with our Exchange 2010 enviornment.  I imagine it should work fine with Office 365 also.

Arif,

If you want to move to Office 2011 for Mac the installation is really straightforward. Since Microsoft used a standard Apple package you can deploy it with ARD. Take a look at the Office 2011 Admin guide provided by Microsoft (http://mac2.microsoft.com/help/office/14/en-us/admin) and look specifically at the section "Deploying Office for Mac 2011". There is a little info on importing .PST and other files from previous versions here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2413370. I seem to recall a guide about fully customizing Office 2011 for Mac but can't seem to locate it at this moment.

If you need more assistance we can talk off-list.

Thanks,
Jason
