Hi folks -

I thought I would start a new thread on today's IPv6 experiences.  We are live and happy at http://ipv6.davenport.edu, as far as I can tell.

My test results to my desktop are looking solid at http://test-ipv6.com/ .

IPv6 Winners of note:

google+
facebook.com (love that address:  2a03:2880:10:8f01:face:b00c:0:25)

IPv6 Losers of note:

yahoo.com - does not resolve an IPv6 address
educause.edu - does not resolve an IPv6 address

Problems with a website at va.gov (ipv6 server refusing requests) cleared up, so our staff is happy!

What has your experience been?  Anyone messing with tunnels?

Definitely, please add me in and thanks.

Here is another great site to determine IPv6 readiness:

http://ip6.nl/#!weber.edu

I hope to have IPv6 running on our SPAM filters and main website (using Cisco ACE 6-to-4 load-balancing) within a month.

Cheers!

Tristan

Why did you create ipv6.davenport.edu instead of simply adding an AAAA RR for davenport.edu? -- Jeremy L. Gaddis
ipv6 host is a different host than davenport.edu.  Also, we didn't want to touch our production system at this point.
