FYI,

This caught me a little off guard the first time I logged into cisco prime infrastructure 1.2, there are now 2 different “themes” to view the webpage in.  Both give you different options/dropdown menus, etc.  Maybe the cisco prime infrastructure has always had these themes, but coming from WCS/NCS this was new to me.

I’m including this link which shows you how to add a controller,  which is a little different in the lifecycle theme.  I switched mine back to classic theme because that is same as WCS/NCS.

This isn't just for adding a controller (like 5508), it's for a VIRTUAL controller, which is certainly new. I did notice that the vWLC only supports 3,000 clients, where the 5508s support 7K clients. Nice to see the virtual thing coming to controller land, though.

That is how you add any controller regardless of the model.  Here is more about the lifecycle theme…

They added third party switch and controller support as well with this version.
