Hello,

I'm facilitating a discussion on the Flipped Classroom during Blackboard's Never Stop Learning Tour in Philadelphia next month. After presenting a brief overview of the Flipped Classroom -
  • What is it?
  • How did it come to be?
  • What's driving people to adopt it?
I was hoping to share real experiences.  If you are using the concept and are willing to share your experience, please email or call me sometime before Friday, December 13th.

Many thanks,
Emily

Hi Emily,

I'm in the area and helping to facilitate a flipped initiative at a local university. We should talk!

Emily,

I've been flipping out since 2008, with a Web tech basics course. Flipped is particularly good for skills courses, like Web tech, writing, and data analysis.

At...

... there's a short story putting flipped in context for skills courses.
