Re: [BLEND-ONLINE] Invitation: online meeting to plan for Educause

Blend-Online Educause annual conference meeting planning. Before the meeting please consider the type of format you think would be best: panel, guest speaker(s), small group interactives, a series of short presentations, etc, etc. What topics would be most interesting for you? Please note that this requires audio via the computer (no telephones), and it will be best if you use a headset rather than external computer speakers - as it will otherwise cause lots of echo. Prior to the meeting you may like to visit the following page to double check that you have the correct version of Flash Player installed: https://connect.johnshopkins.edu/common/help/en/support/meeting_test.htm Looking forward to our discussion and planning!

Hello everyone.

Our office is interested in creating a pilot study to evaluate whether faculty and student use of Blackboard's Retention has a positive impact on student performance in retention in online courses.

Have any of you conducted a similar pilot study using Bb Retention Center? If so, would you be interested in sharing the design of your pilot study, any initial results, and lessons learned?

Thanks,

Kelvin Bentley, Ph.D.

I think you would hit a much wider audience if you post your Blackboard Learn-related questions on one of the world-wide Listserv lists hosted by Arizona State University, like the BLKBRD-L@asu.edu -- these are very informative lists for faculty, EdTech staff and administrators of schools running Blackboard products.

You will need to subscribe to the ASU list in order to post. For more information, see:
