Good Morning,

Please join us for UMassOnline’s free event co-sponsored by EDUCAUSE Community Constituent Group: Blended and Online Learning, A NIFTI Idea: Understanding Project and Portfolio Management at UMassOnline.

This event, featuring guest speaker Kristine Shannon, founder of K Shannon Associates, will review the growth of Agile Project Management within IT and higher education. Kristine has helped numerous campuses in the implementation of Agile methods (Indiana University, University of Pennsylvania, Clemson University, Georgia Institute of Technology, University of Notre Dame, Texas Tech University and many more).

In addition, UMassOnline’s own Stefanie Henderson and Patrick Masson will be sharing their efforts to employ Agile Project Management as a framework for UMassOnline's Product Lifecycle. Campus members working directly with specific technologies (Product Owners) will present on the various projects within the Product Lifecycle in order to raise awareness about how they are using technologies in support of online learning and increase adoption of those technologies through Agile methods.

Perhaps of interest to some on this list…

Patrick Masson was one of our online meeting speakers earlier this year so here’s your chance if you missed that session.
