Greetings all. Does anyone have a good course evaluation for an online course they’d be willing to share? A faculty member here requested a “good assessment instrument I can send to my students to get their thoughts on the course and the online teaching.”

We have one in place as part of our course evaluation process, but thought I’d what the community here might have to offer.

Thanks,

Kristen

Kristen,

I would suggest looking at the survey instrument developed for the Community of Inquiry. It addresses the most important parts of online learning:

Hi Kristen,

I've attached a copy of ours. We do not evaluate content, so our wording is carefully chosen to reflect an assessment of course design only. We are using a CC-BY-SA license on it.
