Hi Everyone,

We have the results of the survey regarding what topics you'd like to discuss at the upcoming Educause Conference. The format for our session will be similar to a speed-dating event in that we will have four topics of discussion, and a facilitator at each table. Approximately every 10-12 minutes we'll switch tables so that everyone will have the opportunity to share and participate in a discussion on the following topics:

1. New Course Models
2. Flip classrooms
3. Instructional Designers: what do they do and how do we maximize their expertise
4. Construction of the perfect course building/design team.

Now, we need facilitators for the topics. If you are willing to lead the discussion on a particular topic, please email me or Clark with your name and the topic you'd like to facilitate. We'll get back to you with the specifics.

Thanks so much!
I'm looking forward to meeting you all at Educause!

Guys these are really excellent topics.

I am disappointed that I will miss this conference. (Hopefully, you will share your notes in the next meeting).

My director has requested that I attend the Teaching Professor Technology Conference in Atlanta next week.

Willing to share my notes.

Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance”

Not sure how to reach Ellen or Clark directly, but I am an Instructional Designer at WCU who is a part of a flipped/blended learning initiative here. I also design courses for online and hybrid delivery and work with faculty members, multimedia staff, IT, and pedagogical experts across higher education to develop course component and train faculty on and offline on the intersection of technological tools and pedagogy. In short, I’d be happy to attend and or facilitate any of these discussions.

Thank You,

Stephanie Taitano
