Hi, We are trying to get Partest 7.0 ready to go, but we have been told by Scantron that the current scanner we have will not work with Windows 7.0.

This is very frustrating because when we purchased Partest 7, we were told we would need a new computer with Windows 7.  They have quoted us on a new scanner for $4000-5000 which seems high. Are any of you using other scanners that are compatible with Windows 7?  Do non-Scantron scanners work?  Any recommendations? Any information  you could provide would be helpful. Thanks and happy holidays.

Hi,

I don’t know about non-Scantron scanners but that estimate is just what we are facing.  We use ParScore and originally we were given some older models from the local K-12 and of course they have since ceased to work.  It is an expensive proposition to put all of the scanners around our two campuses that we would like to have available.

If there are non-Scantron options that work, I’d also love to hear about them.

Jay
