Hello, Is anyone aware of any standards/guidelines/recommendations addressing the qualities of artificial lighting recommended for video recording within a classroom setting? I will happily summarize and repost to the list any suggestions or resources. Beth, The Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) has a design guide for videoconferencing lighting, which I'd assume has a lot of transferable application to lecture capture. You can get it here: http://www.ies.org/store/product/fundamentals-of-lighting-for-videoconfe... ing-1043.cfm. I'm only aware that it exists, but I haven't reviewed it. They are currently working on an ANSI standard for videoconferencing lighting based on the work of the design guide, but that is probably still at least a year away. Matt Matthew A.
