Welcome to the new Lecture/Content Capture Discussion Group. This group provides the participants with the opportunity to discuss issues and challenges associated with the design, deployment, and management of lecture and content capture systems.

I'm Patsy Carruthers, Director of Academic Technology at the University of Kentucky, and I'm joined by Charles Barbour, Educational Technologist at the University of Notre Dame, in welcoming you. Chaz and I met in September at a lecture tools vendor event, and we agreed that there was a need for a forum to discuss issues and ideas around hardware, software, integration with existing A/V systems, business cases and funding models, and more.

Please feel free to post questions of the group. As we start to add members, Chaz and I and some of our colleagues will post some conversation starters. We hope you will join in!
