Biography

Lynn McRae wears several hats at Stanford University. His current position in the Strategy and Planning group involves designing the long term information architectures for the Stanford campus while kibbitzing on related technical directions. Previously he was responsible for Stanford's Registry architecture/development and the design of
Stanford's Authority (Privilege) management system. In his 28 year
career at Stanford he has seen technologies come but the virgo in him still finds the challenges of wrangling and leveraging information
rewarding. He collects minerals, reads science fiction, and secretly
want's to just remodel houses and build furniture.
