To assist you with budget and travel planning, the registration fees and a brief schedule of events for EDUCAUSE 2008 are listed below.

Conference Schedule

Preconference activities begin on Tuesday, October 28, with the preconference seminars. (Please note: all preconference seminars require separate payment and registration.) The first full-conference activity is the opening of the exhibit hall on Tuesday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. The main conference opens Wednesday, October 29, at 8:00 a.m. with the general session featuring V. S. Ramachandran, Professor and Director of the Center for Brain and Cognition, UC San Diego. The conference will close Friday, October 31, with the general session featuring Freeman Hrabowski, President, the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, which will end at approximately 11:30 a.m.

*Registration fee includes:

  • attendance at all educational activities, Wednesday through Friday
  • entrance to the exhibit hall, Tuesday through Thursday
  • lunch on Wednesday and Thursday
  • refreshment breaks, Tuesday through Friday
  • special conference event Thursday evening

**You must register and pay an additional fee for preconference seminars to be held on Tuesday, October 28.

Hotel and registration information will be online in mid June. We will have hotel rooms available from $135 to $264 per night.
