April 2013
ECAR and ACTI Integration
Effective this summer, ECAR and the EDUCAUSE Advanced Core Technologies Iniatitive (ACTI) will be combined. The advantages of this blending include:
- Similar purpose. Both ACTI and ECAR help provide higher education with analysis and guidance on advanced core technologies, such as mobile IT.
- Combined resources. EDUCAUSE recognizes that integration is the best way to support and strengthen both programs.
- Community collaboration. The ACTI working group model enables successful member-led multi-institution collaboration on technology issues.
