ECARtoons

Napoleon Bonaparte anticipated the media age when he observed that a picture is worth a thousand words. ECAR work cuts no corners, demands a committed readership, and certainly contains more than its thousand-word measure! In a busy world, there is indeed a place for the well-chosen picture, or in some cases, a well-chosen cartoon. The illustrator uses humor and irony to highlight a topic that may be too complex or indelicate to express in words. And cartoons well executed are fun and should remind us that what we do is fun.

ECAR is pleased from time to time to add to a library of cartoons that it has commissioned to illustrate points or to commemorate moments from ECAR's symposia. We hope you enjoy them.
