Session Type: Project Briefing
Suddenly, the university's one-of-a-kind mascot disappears. Who is behind the caper? How can students help get it back? The answers to these questions will be revealed in this project briefing which highlights the creation of an alternate reality game (ARG) by Penn State University Libraries. The ARG involved a university president, a dean, and a little magic and drew upon collaborations with Penn State's Digital Commons and Educational Gaming Commons. Learn about this tool as a dynamic way to introduce resources and services to students and put their problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to the test.
