Session Type: Project Round: Using Evaluation Tools Effectively
A key factor in the success of any research effort to explore the evidence of impact of a teaching intervention or strategy will be the choice of research or evaluation instruments and how they are used. In this session we will discuss how to make choices among different tools and methods based on the characteristics of the project and how to use the tools in ways that maximize the reliability and validity of the data collected. The emphasis will be on tools for qualitative data collection.
