Each year, the EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative (ELI) conducts a survey to identify the key themes in teaching and learning in higher education; the top five or six serve as content anchors for ELI events and publications. The ELI publishes the results on this site in the form of a downloadable infographic that can be used in campus discussions.

2014 Content Anchor Survey

2013 Content Anchors

Based on the input of 530 community members, the top six themes chosen include assessment of student learning; online and blended teaching and learning; emerging technology, future models, and academic transformation; digital and information literacies; mobile learning; and methods for evaluating technology based instructional innovations.
