Overview

Each year, the EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative conducts a crowdsourcing survey among the teaching and learning community to determine its content anchors for the coming year. From the list of possible topics, the top five or six anchors chosen serve as organizing themes for ELI events and publications.

2013-2014 Survey

In early 2013, the ELI conducted its annual survey and the infographic below showcases the content anchors chosen by the community as the top issues in teaching and learning and highlights changes from the previous year's survey.

Based on the input of 530 community members, the top six themes chosen include assessment of student learning; online and blended teaching and learning; emerging technology, future models, and academic transformation; digital and information literacies; mobile learning; and methods for evaluating technology based instructional innovations. These content anchors will inform ELI resources and events for 2013 and 2014.
