The Worldwide Education Markets group seeks a Higher Education Marketing Manager to develop and implement strategic, innovative marketing programs that will increase Apple's presence and market share in Higher Education institutional, departmental, and student markets.
The ideal candidate will have experience doing topline market analysis, developing a marketing vision and strategizing on ways to target specific market segments. In addition, the ability to formulate program plans and implement them efficiently and comprehensively is important. Experience marketing or selling to higher education customers while preferred, is not essential. Nevertheless, experience marketing to non-traditional students, community and vocational colleges, and higher ed IT decision makers is of particular interest.
This person should be adept at problem solving, a collaborative team member and possess strong project management skills. Requires a BA/BS and 5+ years of experience in marketing, or a MBA/MEd in Education. Relevant experience in personal computer marketing is essential. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills required. This position requires strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interface with cross-functional teams. |
