This position will be part of the Network Operations team which is responsible for the overall stability and integrity of the campus network. This position will also be responsible for designing new solutions based upon user requirements, and developing strategic infrastructure technology solutions. The Network Support Specialist will be responsible for ensuring continuous high quality support of the University user community. Support areas include servers, firewalls, workstations (PC & MAC), printers and other peripherals. This position requires a highly motivated, well organized self-starter who can effectively manage their time and demonstrate their ability to take on advanced support issues. Outstanding troubleshooting, customer service, and communication skills are a requirement for the position.
