Fratkin Associates clients include: the EDUCAUSE Public Policy Task Force, Internet2, and the Southeastern Universities Research Association (SURA). She also serves as the Washington liaison for the Coalition for Academic Scientific Computation, an alliance of thirty-five Academic Supercomputing Centers in twenty-two states.

As the author of numerous articles on public policy and telecommunications and technology policy vis a vis the higher education community, she participates as a panelist at national conferences and has served as a reviewer for Federal education technology programs.
