Emerging Best Practices for Student Success

About ITIL Conference – The event provides presentations by Lee College faculty and representatives from area colleges and universities. The conference focus is on innovative instructional strategies that engage students to improve learning.  Participation in the conference is free for faculty, staff, students, librarians and instructional technology support.  Registration is required.  This is an excellent opportunity for you to showcase programs and to share your expertise with colleagues.  2013 Keynote Speaker:  Dr. Mark David Milliron, Chancellor, Western Governors University

About the Office of Technology – Lee College enterprise technology organization that provides solutions to empower faculty, students, staff and administrators across divisions and departments and deliver services more efficiently and effectively.  The main focus is on local and global connectivity, engaging and empowering faculty and students, improving business processes, working collaboratively and continuously seeking best practices and innovating.

Call for Proposals – Lee College is pleased to announce its Call for Proposals for the 2013 Lee College Innovations in Teaching and Learning Conference invites faculty, librarians, students, administrators and technology support and companies to submit proposals to present.  Add to meaningful dialogue as a conference presenter by sharing your experience, expertise and best practices.  Presentations can be given in one of three formats: Individual, Panel Discussion or Poster.  If selected, your proposal (limited to no more than 350 words) will serve as your presentation abstract on the conference web site.  Conference tracks focus on issues related to:

 

  1. BYOD:  All Things Wireless, Mobile and Cloud  
  2. Innovative Use of Technology for Assessment and Learning Analytics
  3. Innovations in Online and Blended Learning  
  4. Educational Gaming and Simulations
  5. Defining the Emerging Role of Social Media Mentoring to Engage Underserved Students
  6. Innovative Learning Spaces and its Impact on Student Success
  7. Innovative Use of a Learning Methodology or Model
