CHECS CIO and Technology Leader Research Results for 2014

The CHECS CIO and technology leader (TL) research results for 2014 revealed a number of positive changes including the recognition by CIOs and TLs of the importance of mentoring and on-the-job training for the TL who aspires to the CIO role. In addition, CIOs who serve on the institution management team and who report to the CEO viewed themselves as more effective than their counterparts. The 2014 results and a longitudinal view of these ongoing studies will be presented.
