The global economic downturn has created significant financial challenges for institutions. This panel of financial officers will discuss the short- and long-term impacts of the economic crisis on higher education finances, technology adoption, and management. Our conversation will explore the implications of the economic crisis for technology adoption decisions, technology's potential to alter institutions' costs and revenues, and the challenges of managing the IT budget in the current fiscal climate. The discussion will include brief opening statements from the panelists followed by a discussion of questions posed by the facilitator and the audience.
