Tell Me a Story: Using Digital Reflections to Achieve Essential Learning Outcomes

This poster session will explore the use of "digital reflection" to help students achieve essential learning outcomes, including information literacy. Specifically, the poster will illustrate a pedagogical model that incorporates progressive student reflection activities, using ePortfolios, and summative reflection, through the creation of a multimedia digital storytelling project. Evidence of the model's impact on learning will be demonstrated through sample student work. The poster will also share best practices and techniques for the effective use of technologies in creating digital reflections.
