Summary

When the phrase "design thinking" is heard, it's often assumed that you have to be a designer or artist to "do it." Actually, it is not just for designers but for anyone working on complex problems. Most importantly, this methodology is linked to innovation and tapping into right and left brain thinking. This presentation will share a view of subject matter for a design thinking curriculum and then provide some practical, real-world application strategies to help participants understand how this particular protocol and methodology helps us look at, study, challenge, and perhaps solve complex issues in any subject matter.

Specifically, you'll learn about the innovators behind this methodology, explore design thinking's implications, phases, and practical applications, and see examples.
