Microsoft Accessibility: Technology for Everyone

Technology has the potential to change individual lives and entire communities when people have effective access to use it. As our global society becomes increasingly more diverse and dependent on technological innovations to access, connect, and participate in the digital economy, accessibility cannot be an afterthought or bolt-on solution to products or services. It has to be incarnate in the DNA and philosophy of design, engineering, user testing, and support of new, existing, and legacy products. In this EDUCAUSE Live, Microsoft CTO Cameron Evans and Alex Li, Microsoft Senior Trustworthy Computing Strategist, will lead a conversation on Microsoft's progress on its accessibility journey and what it means to education decision-makers at all levels. You can expect a lively conversation and an opportunity to share in the conversation.
