Migration to IPv6—Has Tomorrow Finally Arrived?

In early February, the last unallocated block of IPv4 Internet addresses was distributed. After 15 years of sporadic deployment, the time for serious adoption of IPv6 may finally be at hand. During this session, the chairman of ARIN, the American Registry for Internet Numbers, will explain how IP addresses are distributed and review general approaches to migration from IPv4 to IPv6. We'll also hear from an expert on IPv6 deployment in higher education who will provide a how-to for campuses looking to take the plunge.
