This presentation describes how Brown University prioritized one aspect of accessibility and implemented a unique strategy based on campus needs and available resources.

WCAG 2.0 AA: What? Building College Accessibility Plans from Ground Zero
How does an institution create a long-term online content accessibility plan when there is no precedent to follow and no lawsuit to motivate? How do you convince stakeholders within each college that accessibility is worthy of the time, effort, and cost? This session will highlight how three colleges within a research university collaborated to establish training procedures, planning documents, and reporting templates that created the accessibility plan model for the entire campus.
