Applying MOOCs in On-Campus Settings: Opportunities, Obstacles, and Results

This presentation will use a multiple case study format to illustrate the implementation and impacts from some of the first experiments that explore the rationale and efficacy of adapting MOOCs for on-campus instruction. In this session, edX leadership, university administration, and a third-party researcher will share their insight and perspectives from studying the learning conditions, obstacles, and opportunities from a series of pilot programs where MOOC resources have been leveraged to serve students in a community college and a state university system.
