The challenges and success factors associated with enterprise administrative system replacement in an environment of economic distress, senior leadership turnover, state government scrutiny, and complex cross-institution system interdependencies is demanding. Executing the UW's 2008 strategic plan to replace its administrative systems requires patience, flexibility, vision, and strategic focus.
