Adventures in IT Governance

Friday, May 18 | 12:00PM–1:00PM | White River Ballroom B
Session Type: ENT12

IT governance (ITG) promotes the intelligent use of resources and provides a shared, rational, and transparent framework for the selection and prioritization of IT investments. It is vital that IT investment choices are guided by stakeholders, support enterprise strategies, and ensure that mission-critical items receive the highest priority. We'll share our stories of five evolving governance structures within an environment of organizational and leadership changes across three campuses. Come share your successes and challenges with driving ITG processes toward higher maturity levels of definition, management, and optimization. The conversation will focus on the participants, the decisions and resources, the structure of the process, the environment surrounding the process, and how to manage the process itself.
