Session Type: Concurrent Session
This session will examine IT governance from both the IT and non-IT perspectives. Within the unit , effective governance needs to be based on sound process and quality principles. COBIT provides just such a framework. We'll show how COBIT has been deployed in a typical IT unit. We'll conclude our session with a discussion on how IT governance should be addressed at the board level, an environment that generally has little do it with IT, and conclude with a live survey that allows participants to compare their situations.
