Curricular change in higher education is often the product of a range of stakeholders, and leading these diverse teams toward a particular course of action can be a complex process. This session will prompt attendees to consider how best to engage faculty, academic leaders, and IT organizations to develop projects that leverage the power of productive teams.

Objectives:

  • Recognize that influencing decision-making begins with building and inspiring a shared vision
  • Consider ways to build empathy and trust across divisions to better engage team members
  • Identify the roles that data, research literature, and systematic forms of study play in leading institutional change
